The Facebook chat application, Messenger, has been criticized earlier for not deleting messages that are postponed or considered superfluous. Facebook has announced earlier this year that it is working on this feature, and now is the time to launch.
To use it, you just have to do the cursor on the text in question, click on the small icon that pops up then select the remove option. There we can decide whether we want to permanently remove it for all the participants of the chat (we have ten minutes in total) or we can only delete it for ourselves. The latter can come in handy if you want to create a screenshot and do not want to embarrass an embarrassing, distracting text.
