Apple's share fell from 12.1% to 11.9%. The Xiaomi share also rose - from 5.8% to 8.8% and that of OPPO - from 7.1% in the second quarter of 2017 to 7.6% in the second quarter of 2018.
Gartner notes that the rating leader is losing ground due to Chinese supplier pressures and a general decline in demand for Samsung's top models. All of this negatively affects the Korean giant's income.
